  • We help you to understand how the media works so you can work effectively with it to achieve your objectives. We provide you with our simple PP formula and tools to help you to quickly and effectively prepare for and deliver a media interview for a real life or possible good news story or media issue that you identify before the workshop starts. After giving you tips to know your style and be in control of media interviews, you will do a real-time camera TV news interview or a mock in -studio radio interview.

    Our workshops are fun and designed to show you that doing effective media interviews is not as hard as you think. Group workshop participants help and encourage each other.

  • We help you to understand how the media works so you can work effectively with it to achieve your objectives. We provide you with our simple formula and tools to help you quickly and effectively prepare for and deliver a media interview for a real life, or possible good news story, or media issue that you identify before the workshop starts. After giving you tips to know your style and be in control ,, you will experience a practice on-camera TV news interview or a mock in -studio radio interview.

    Our workshops are fun and designed to show you that developing and delivering effective presentations is not as hard as you think. We provide a supportive space where participants help and encourage each other. A maximum of six people per workshop works best.

  • We customise every workshop to meet the needs of an organisation and participants. Workshops generally range from three hours to six hours. Media interview skills workshops and presentation training skills workshops generally take six hours as they include a real-time practical component of doing media interviews or delivering a presentation.

  • There's no need to panic! You don't have to undertake an on-camera interview but if your job includes media, at some stage you may be on camera. If you can handle a camera interview, you can handle other interviews.

    It is better to do an interview in the safe and supportive environment of our training rather than your first interview being with a media outlet.

    By the end of the workshop, you will see an increase in your skills and confidence to deliver effective on-camera media interviews.

    Video is key in marketing and communication. Another benefit of an on-camera experience is it will enhance your skills and tools when appearing in organisational videos or podcasts.

  • A maximum of six participants allows us to give the group the time and tools to complete an on-camera interview while maximising participant engagement and learning outcomes.

    If you have more than six people, we can run additional workshops or split sessions.

    As a value-add, additional Learning and Development, Communication and Marketing team members are welcome to attend the workshop at no additional charge. They simply don’t undertake an on-camera interview or deliver a presentation.

  • We also offer coaching and workshops for media, public relations and marketing staff on how to successfully work with the media. This includes how to identify news stories as well as write and pitch effective media releases.

  • Peak Presenting provides media training, presentation skills training and communication skills training to organisations across the private, Government and NGO sectors.

    We have delivered a Local Government workshop series to a number of councils. This series includes a Councillor induction workshop as well as media training and presentation skills training for team members.

    We provide training workshops and coaching for public relations, marketing and communication professionals on how to successfully work with the media.
