Helping talented PKF women to thrive and lead

This week Peak Presenting had the pleasure of helping six talented women at accounting and business advisory firm PKF Sydney and Newcastle to thrive and lead.

Fittingly, the workshop was held on the day PKF staff marked International Women’s Day #IWD2022.

The women are part of the alumni of PKF's Thrive and Lead Program. Our half day workshop gave them skills at tips for communicating and presenting effectively, to any audience - whether that is holding a client meeting, a team meeting or a Board or conference presentation. 

To make the program more practical and effective we put the participants in front of a camera for interviews on topics workshopped during the session. 

Peak Presenting trainer and director Melinda Smith said the on camera interviews helped the women to put their new skills in to practice.

"These are talented leaders so we use the interviews to extend them and take them out of their comfort zone," Melinda said.

"But, the women excelled in the exercise. Proving to them that they have the capabilty and that our Peak Presenting formula and tips help leaders to present like a pro."

PKF has engaged Peak Presenting to run the workshop in its current Thrive and Lead program. Melinda said its success led to Peak Presenting being invited to deliver the workshop to the program's alumni.
